1. Guillotine Side Piece

Add Guillotine Format - this would be a side benefit game. We would divert 50% of the weekly winner money to the winner and runner up of the Guillotine. What is guillotine? It’s an elimination format, the low scoring team each week is eliminated, until there is just one team left. 80% to the last team remaining, 20% to the runner up. We will run this season with no action (no money), so this is to formalize this. Please read the first comment to understand why adding Guillotine will be a fun addition to the league. From Josh.... Why Add a Guillotine Format Side Pot? 1. Discourages Tanking and Inactivity The guillotine side pot makes every week matter, even for teams that lose a few early games. Since the lowest-scoring team gets “chopped” each week (or contributes to the side pot outcome in a similar survivor-style contest), managers have incentive to optimize their lineups and compete, regardless of their season-long record. This combats tanking and keeps all league members active and invested. 2. Adds Excitement and Variety A guillotine contest runs in parallel with your main league, offering a new layer of suspense. The weekly elimination drama provides fresh stakes, extra trash talk, and something “to root for” every single week—especially helpful for teams that might otherwise be out of playoff contention by midseason. 3. Creates More Winners and Keeps Everyone Engaged With a side pot, even teams that don’t make the playoffs or win the championship can cash out by surviving longest in the guillotine pool. This helps distribute the fun and competitive tension across the league, not just for the top teams but for everyone. 4. Simple, Flexible, and Low Effort A guillotine side pot is easy to manage: you track weekly scores, identify the lowest, and remove or “chop” that entry from the secondary contest. The last manager standing wins the side pot. It doesn’t interfere with regular scoring, trading, or waivers, making it an easy and fun addon to your existing format. In summary: Adding a guillotine side pot to your fantasy league boosts engagement, eliminates tanking incentives, and gives every participant another chance to compete all season long. 2. Fancy Conditional Cuts

Offset Conditional Cut Cost - Proposed change is enabling a salary offset on conditionally cut players that are bid on following being cut. This would NOT increase conditional cuts (every team will continue to have 1 per year) and this is only when the original franchise is not the winning bidder of the conditionally cut player. Also the offset can’t exceed the original price. Example: WR Treylon Burks ($40, 2026) is conditional cut by Beavercats, Burks is bid on and won by Horse and Pepper for $5, then the cost for that season for Beavercats is $35. However if Beavercats win Burks at $5, there would be zero offset -- meaning the Beavercats would still have to pay the $40 to conditionally cut Burks. Aye vote = this would be implemented on a majority for the 2027 season. Nay vote = no change Rationale: Will encourage conditional cut usage on higher cost, over paid contracts, increases availability of better players in each auction (vs. current usage on mostly low cost, very low value players). Counter: This may reduce the unconditional cut value slightly since there are alternatives to players (e.g. Devin Singletary this season).

3. Kick Kickers to the Curb

Should we eliminate the kicker position beginning with the 2026 season? Any Kicker on a long term contract would be voided and the cap returned to the franchise. We would keep 20 active roster spots as a part of this amendment - effectively increasing the bench spots by one. Aye vote = this would be implemented on a simple majority. Nay vote = no change, kicker position remains part of starting lineup. Rationale: Kickers are lame. They introduce more luck than skill to our fine game. Counter: Kicker is an important NFL position, Super Bowls are won and lost on last minute kicks. Hell, it's called football for a reason.
